Welcome to this basic guide on how to start learning. In this guide, we’ll show you how to register for an account, take a course, and introduce you to Pharmacovigilance.
WHAT IS PHARMACOVIGILANCE?
Pharmacovigilance is the science and activities relating to the detection, assessment, understanding and prevention of adverse effects or any other drug-related problem (WHO, 2002).
It is a fundamental public health surveillance activity to inform the management of patient safety measures in healthcare. Pharmacovigilance (PV), also known as ‘drug safety’. Pharmacovigilance promotes the systematic, rational use and assures the confidence for the safety of drugs. It improves patient care and safety, public health and safety.
In order to start taking a course on this platform, you’ll need to first register for an account. Follow these steps to create an account:
